I did an end of the year review for picspammy, including my favorite movies, books, musicals, people, and TV shows. I included Ugly Betty as my #1 TV show. There's a mini picspam (really only for Season 1), and short gush/review. If you'd like to see it, click on the link & scroll down to the very end of the post. ♥

I apologize if this isn't allowed; let me know if it isn't, and I'll delete. Also wasn't sure how to tag this...

The magnificent cast of The Good Wife just got even better: The show’s hired Ugly Betty‘s America Ferrera!

The Emmy winner is joining the CBS drama for a three-episode arc beginning in February. Ferrera will play Natalie, a graduate student in whom Eli (Alan Cumming) develops a romantic interest.

“We’ve been watching and loving America for years now on Ugly Betty,” says exec producer Robert King, “and it’ll be fantastic to see her take on a completely different role, especially one that puts her across from Alan Cumming.”

This marks Ferrera’s first TV gig since Betty signed off the air last year.

Well this is sad-ish! Instead of 13 episodes, Love Bites will only air 9 =( But the article explains why very well so this isnt actually that bad:

NBC has decided to bite off a little less Love Bites: Vulture hears the network has decided to trim back its episodic order for the Working Title–produced romantic anthology series starring Ugly Betty's Becki Newton and Heroes' Greg Grunberg. Instead of the previously planned thirteen-episode first season, just nine episodes will be made for now; filming will halt early next week. It's been a long road to air for Bites, which was originally scheduled to debut on Thursday nights this fall and underwent a show-runner shuffle early on. The decision to trim the episode count isn't really a big surprise, however: Once NBC decided to expand to six comedies on Thursday and launch some other midseason shows in January, it became clear the network wouldn't need a full thirteen-episode order of Bites for this season. Peacock insiders remain high on the show, which was always a big risk because it's a Love, American Style anthology with only a couple of recurring characters. The show's ultimate fate will rest in the hands of incoming NBC boss Bob Greenblatt, who will very likely make the decision on when and where to finally schedule Bites. We hope he gives it a shot — we've seen two vignettes from early episodes of the show, and it's cute and a lot less annoying than Outsourced. New York Magazine

I saw this in the New York Times. Michael will be taking over a role in "Angels in America," starting February 2, 2010.

It was just announced that Michael Urie is scheduled to begin appearing in the play Angels in America in New York City in February. I have one ticket for Part 1 and one ticket for Part 2, both on February 9th, that I'm selling, if anyone here would be interested in buying them, as I can no longer attend. Please feel free to comment or PM for more details if interested.

I got really upset when I read the Mid-season line up for NBC and Love Bites, Becki's new show, wasnt listed! So I tweeted Greg Grunberg who is a series regular now and he said:

Yay! The midseason line up NBC put out was for Janurary so I guess thats why Love Bites wasnt included.
